Learn to Meditate

Saturday March 24, 10am – 12:30pm

 

Inner peace does not come naturally but needs to be cultivated. Through the practice of meditation we can develop and maintain a peaceful mind all the time. If our mind is peaceful all the time, we will be happy all the time.

When we make effort to meditate, even 10-15 minutes a day, we gain the inner control necessary to handle the stress that comes with a busy job and the challenges we face in our relationships. In general, meditation will reduce stress and increase our feelings of well-being and stability. The small things in life don’t upset us and we react more positively when difficulties arise. Learn more about the numerous benefits that come from starting a daily practice.

This course is especially suited for beginners. No previous experience of meditation or Buddhism is necessary. Everyone is welcome.
