SUMMARY:Powa Prayers for the Deceased
DESCRIPTION:Once a month we engage in a ritual practice on behalf of those who have recently died.Through our faith in Buddha Avalokiteshvara, Buddha of Compassion, and our compassion for those who have passed away, we can assist in directing the consciousness of the recently deceased directly to the Pure Land where they are free from all suffering.This prayer ceremony will be shared online with the KMC Ottawa community, and limited in-person attendance with proof of vaccination can be arranged — please contact Kelsang Lamden in advance, at education@meditateinottawa.org ( mailto:education@meditateinottawa.org )\n
