A Series of Saturday Meditation Classes
July 6, 13 & 20, 10-11am

 
About the classes

Every day we seem to experience unwanted emotions such as worry, anger and depression. We may try to distract ourself and push the feeling away, but this approach never seems to relieve the painful feelings for very long. These classes will use basic Buddhist understanding to help you to understand how to use positive, alternative ways of thinking, such as patience, love and wisdom; these are lasting solutions to uncomfortable states of mind. By developing familiarity with them, you can gradually begin to feel happier and more peaceful, and solve many of your daily problems.

These classes are suitable for everyone; everyone is welcome! Each class will include a teaching and guided meditations. You’re welcome to attend any or all of the classes.

July 13 Dealing with Anger & Resentment
July 20 Dealing with Depression & Discouragement

 

Cost: $12.00 per class, or $30.00 for the series | Free for members
No registration or experience are necessary. Please try to arrive 10 minutes before class and enter at the side entrance. Someone will be there to greet you and show you around.
