Tuesday evenings: Dealing with Difficult Emotions

7:00 to 8:30 pm

Each day we seem to experience unwanted emotions such as worry, anger, and depression. We try to distract ourself, or to push the feeling away, but these approaches never seem to relieve the mental pain and discomfort for very long. Buddha taught that positive ways of thinking, developing patience, love and wisdom, are the lasting solutions to these uncomfortable states of mind. Through familiarity and effort, we will gradually begin to feel happier and more peaceful, and as a result many of our daily problems subside.

Each class will include practical advice, guided meditations, and time to discuss.

Everyone is welcome, no experience is necessary. Please enter through the side door and someone will be there to show you around the centre.

This series of classes is also offered in Orleans at the Orleans Public Library.
