Tuesday night classes run throughout the year

Meditation is an ancient technique that Buddha taught for all levels of interest and capacity. It greatly helps to reduce stress and anxiety, and makes us feel stable and content.

When we meditate, we are working with our mind; we’re training it to go in the direction we want it to go in. We want a mind that stays calm when life brings sudden change, disappointment, and aggravation. With the right intention and with effort, we can start a daily meditation practice that we’ll soon grow to love and value. Meditation also helps us develop our good heart, which is something our friends and family can enjoy and appreciate.

Each class will include practical advice, guided meditations, and time to discuss.

Everyone is welcome, no experience is necessary. Please enter through the side door and someone will be there to show you around the centre.

This series of classes is also offered in Orleans at the Orleans Public Library.

Single class: $12
4-class series: $40
