Tuesday evenings: Introduction to Buddhism

Tuesday evenings: Introduction to Buddhism

November 6–27

7:00 to 8:30 pm

Buddha gave many teachings to help us find solutions to our problems and mental pain. For example, he taught that by being aware of our own mortality our life becomes more meaningful. He helped people to understand why things happen in the way that they do, or why at all, when he explained karma: the law of cause and effect. By applying these and other basic Buddhist principles to our everyday lives we can experience greater contentment and inner freedom.

Each class will include practical advice, guided meditations, and time to discuss.
