Saturday, June 20, 10am-12:30pm

Right now, it is easy to get overly focused on the negative: what we don’t have, the freedoms lost, or perhaps that life is unfair. Turning our mind to what we do have, and in particular the kindness we receive from others, can make us feel positive and light. The beauty of this practice is that it’s easy to do, and the benefits are enormous. Feeling fortunate is extremely healing for ourselves and others.

This class is ideal for beginners; it provides easy and uplifting meditations and ways of thinking that inspire joy and gratitude.

$25 or $12.50 if financial difficulties are being experienced. To register, click here

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
has recently suggested we recite Buddha Tara’s prayers (entitled Liberation from Sorrow) to request that the world be helped to overcome COVID-19 situation.

Join us daily at noon for the Tara Prayers click here.

We are also streaming prayers entitled Songs of Healing in which we turn to the power of Medicine Buddha for help. Medicine Buddha is the embodiment of all enlightened healing and a reflection of our own potential for enlightenment. By relying on Medicine Buddha we receive blessings which function to release living beings from outer and inner sickness.

We will engage in the prayers on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:00pm Click here for the link to join us.

The Medicine Buddha Prayer booklet is available on line at Tharpa.ca However, the e-book version is unavailable (the Medicine Buddha Sadhana – eBooklet is different from the Medicine Buddha Prayer which we will be doing).
