Volunteer Opportunities
There are numerous ways to support Kadampa Meditation Centre Ottawa:
Helping maintain the building

If you have time, energy or expertise to assist with cleaning chores, maintaining, or repairing aspects of our 100+ year old building and property, please reach out to Kelsang Khandro at
admin@meditateinottawa.org

Distribute publicity

Help us get the word out about special events or upcoming retreats by putting up posters and distributing publicity in your or other neighbourhoods. It’s a fun way to connect with the community and inform others about upcoming classes and events. Please contact Kelsang Lamden for further information:

Help with classes and retreats

Join our group of teachers’ assistants who help  set up the class and assist our teachers by welcoming and caring for our students. Or, volunteer for help with cooking, baking, prep-work or clean up for one of our on-site retreats. The tasks are not difficult and we will happily train you. Since the real purpose of meditation is to increase our capacity to help others, taking time each day to meditate is not selfish.
