Saturday Morning Courses are special 2 hour meditation classes which we hold at Joyful Land. Generally, we schedule one or two of these a month, in the spring or fall terms. Because these courses are longer than our regular weekly classes, we have an opportunity to explore important topics in greater depth, and have a relaxed period of time devoted to questions at the end. Each course highlights a different topic, such as how to overcome anger, or how to develop a basic meditation practice at home. When circumstances allow, we invite students to meet each other over tea and cookies during a 15 minute break, and to stay after class to discuss the topic more informally with the Teacher. Everyone is welcome.
Saturday morning classes will be posted on our website and in our newsletter, when information becomes available.
Problems arise only if we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind.
