These are anxious times. We just can’t seem to stop worrying – about our family, our finances, world events and a dizzying array of perceived threats to our wellbeing. We try to suppress the discomfort and uncertainty, but remain restless, on edge and unable to relax.

Buddhist teachings offer practical, effective methods to help us let go of this anxiety. Steve Grover will explore how we can cultivate mindfulness, focusing on special ways of thinking and skilful meditation practices that can stop the mind from spinning out of control and maintain an authentic inner peace and contentment.

This half-day course will include practical advice and guided meditations to gain inner experience of methods to let go of fear and anxieties. Everyone is welcome.

1-2;15 - teaching and meditation

2:15-2:45 - break and refreshments

2:45-4pm - teaching and meditation

This course will be taught by Steve Grover, who has been practising and teaching Buddhist meditation for many years. His classes are practical, uplifting & inspiring, and are often marked by his great sense of humour.
