Gen Kelsang Thekchen, Buddhist Monk & TeacherIn this Public Talk Gen Thekchen will explain how meditation creates authentic and long lasting happiness by developing the capacity of our mind.  Discover how happiness and unhappiness originate within the mind itself and how by transforming our mind, we can transform our experiences.  This talk will include a clear presentation of meditations to develop inner peace, explore the nature of the mind, improve concentration and reduce stress.  No previous experience of meditation is required.  Everyone is welcome!

The Teacher for this talk will be Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Thekchen, who is a senior Teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition / International Kadampa Buddhist Union. Gen Thekchen has studied under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for more than 25 years. He has taught extensively internationally, and is well known for his ability to present Buddha's teachings in a simple yet profound, practical and often humorous way, making them easy to put into practice in everyday life.
