Overcoming Procrastination & Distraction
Often when we’ve learned how to meditate and have a strong wish to practice, we still seem to have obstacles to really getting down to actually practicing. Then when we do get to sit and meditate, we can find ourselves totally distracted. Buddha described these obstacles as a form of spiritual laziness. This half-day course will look at methods to overcome these inner obstacles and show how to develop a mind of joyful effort. Come and learn how to give your spiritual practice a boost!
This course will include practical, easy-to-understand teachings and guided meditations.
Everyone is welcome!
Course Schedule

Gen Thekchen has taught widely in Canada and in the UK, and is now the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Ottawa.
