Feeling joyful and connected to others is essential for our sense of wellbeing, inner peace, and happiness. However, even in a place like St John's, surrounded by people, a sense of connection can be elusive, leaving us feeling isolated even in an age of ‘connectivity’.
Connection is something we experience in the mind, and therefore it is a feeling that needs to be cultivated by the mind. In this meditation series, we will explore simple but powerful meditations that gently open the heart and create a genuine feeling of connection with others. We discover a natural warmth and openness from within, allowing us to enjoy life more fully and find greater meaning and purpose.
Each session includes two guided meditations and a practical talk on a weekly topic, followed by time for Q&A.
Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required.
