A Life of Great Meaning
& Purpose ~
Discover the extraordinary
potential within you.
a Special Talk for our 30th Anniversary
with our Canadian National
Spiritual Director
Gen Kelsang Chodor
Saturday September 26
10am - 1pm
at Kadampa Meditation Centre Ottawa
Deep down, every one of us wishes to live a life of genuine meaning and purpose. According to Buddha’s teachings, the way we can create such a life is by becoming a Bodhisattva. A Bodhisattva is someone who is motivated by deep compassion for others and aspires to develop their wisdom and good qualities - not only for their own benefit, but more importantly to make s positive difference in the lives of others. In a world increasingly affected by conflict, fear and uncertainty, wise and compassionate people are needed more than ever. The wonderful truth is that we can all become Bodhisattvas.
In this inspiring course, Gen Chodor will explain how we can transform every aspect of our daily life - from walking, talking and eating to working and relaxing - into the Bodhisattva way of life, a path to lasting freedom and happiness. Through this, we will naturally develop kindness, patience, wisdom and generosity, creating a life of extraordinary meaning, purpose and benefit for both ourselves and others.
Everyone is welcome.
